We understand that some families don’t require permanent child care. You might want to take up a few pilates classes a week, need some grocery shopping hours, have a last-minute meeting or change of plans – there are times you may need occasional or back up childcare at short notice.
Our flexible Casual Care option is specifically designed to meet this need. It’s flexible childcare for families. It allows families, who choose not to have a permanent weekly booking with the ability to book in with 24 hours notice.

Casual Care; how does it work?
Casual Care allows your child to experience Sesame Lane’s unique approach to early learning, health & nutrition fee inclusive:
~ Age based activities, equipment and curriculum.
~ Socialisation with children of their own age and caring adults.
~ Meals & snacks prepared fresh by our in house cook using local, seasonal produce.
~ Casual Care can be utilised by families wishing to transition their child into longer days in care.
~ Children must be enrolled at Sesame Lane Kippa Ring Anzac Avenue to book into Casual Care.
~ We require 24 hours notice to book your child in for casual care.
~ Casual Care is available between 9am and 3pm only.
~ The fee for Casual Care is $22 per hour, per child.
~ Child Care Subsidy discount will apply if the family has applied for their child, if not full fees will be payable.
~ Fees must be paid up front upon dropping your child in for casual care.
~ Casual Care is currently available at Sesame Lane Kippa Ring – Anzac Avenue Location only.
