At Sesame Lane, we believe it truly takes a village to raise a child. Our community connections reflect our deep commitment to giving back, building meaningful relationships, and supporting the people and organisations that make our communities stronger. Through our charities, partnerships, and sponsorships, we proudly stand alongside groups who share our values and our passion for children, families, and wellbeing. Together, we work to create positive, lasting impact across the Moreton Bay region because when communities thrive, children do too.

Dolphins NRL Football Club

Sesame Lane is proud to be the official childcare partner of the Dolphins NRL Football Club, a partnership built on shared values of community, wellbeing, and supporting families to thrive. Together, we champion healthy, active lifestyles, strong community connections, and positive role modelling for children and young people. This relationship is made even more special by the trust shown by Dolphins players and families, with many of their children enrolled and learning at Sesame Lane centres.

As part of this partnership, Sesame Lane families enjoy exclusive benefits, including opportunities to receive rounds of football tickets, and all children who enrol in our Nursery and Toddlers programs receive a complimentary Baby Flippers membership. It’s just one of the ways we add extra value and joy for our families. Ask our friendly team for more details and find out how this partnership benefits your family on and off the field.

Raise it for Redcliffe Impact Partner

Sesame Lane is incredibly proud to be a Raise it for Redcliffe Impact Partner, supporting a cause that sits close to our hearts: caring for families when they need it most. Through the generosity of our community, educators, families, and supporters, we raised $10,000 to fund the refurbishment of the Redcliffe Hospital Parents’ Lounge. This space will be thoughtfully transformed into a more welcoming, user-friendly environment where parents can pause, breathe, and find a moment of comfort while navigating what can be one of the hardest times in their lives, supporting a child who is unwell or undergoing treatment or testing. For us, this partnership is about more than fundraising; it’s about compassion in action, standing beside families, and helping create small moments of calm and dignity during incredibly challenging days.

Helping Children Discover the Joy of Reading

Story Dogs is a wonderful literacy program that helps children build confidence and develop a love of reading through the companionship of specially trained dogs and their volunteer handlers. Sesame Lane is proud to sponsor Andrea and her Story Dog, George, who support children at North Lakes Library. Through relaxed, one-on-one reading sessions, children can practise reading aloud in a safe, non-judgemental environment where they feel encouraged, capable and successful. Programs like Story Dogs help foster confidence, improve literacy skills and create positive reading experiences that can have a lasting impact on a child’s learning journey. Supporting initiatives that strengthen children’s wellbeing, confidence and connection to learning is an important part of Sesame Lane’s commitment to giving back to our community.

The Breakfast Club Redcliffe

Sesame Lane is incredibly proud to support Breakfast Club Redcliffe, a remarkable local organisation that quietly and consistently shows up for people when they need it most. The Breakfast Club Redcliffe supports so many individuals and families in our community by providing meals, connection, and a sense of dignity, often during times of real hardship. We are honoured to donate much-needed funds to help them continue this vital work, knowing that every contribution goes directly toward easing pressure, filling plates, and reminding people that they are seen, valued, and not alone. This partnership reflects what we care deeply about at Sesame Lane: community, compassion, and looking after one another, especially when life feels heavy.

Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club Nippers

Sesame Lane is proud to sponsor the Redcliffe Surf Life Saving Club Nippers Program, an essential initiative for children growing up in a coastal community. Living by the sea brings incredible opportunities—but it also carries real responsibility—and the Nippers program plays a vital role in teaching children surf awareness, water safety, confidence, and respect for the ocean from a young age. Through fun, structured activities, children develop lifesaving skills, resilience, teamwork, and a strong sense of community connection. Supporting Nippers aligns deeply with our commitment to children’s wellbeing and safety, and we are proud to invest in a program that helps local children grow into capable, confident, and ocean-smart young people.

The Pyjama Foundation

Sesame Lane is proud to support The Pyjama Foundation, an organisation doing extraordinary work to bring love, stability, and brighter moments into the lives of children in foster care. Each year, our Sesame Lane community comes together for a Christmas Toy Drive, helping ensure children in care receive something a little special to unwrap at Christmas; a simple joy that can mean the world. We also raise funds annually through Pyjama Day, with cheerful pancake fundraisers held across our centres, turning cosy fun into meaningful impact. These traditions are close to our hearts, reflecting our belief that every child deserves warmth, kindness, and moments of magic especially during the holiday season.

North Lakes United Football Club Women

Sesame Lane is proud to sponsor North Lakes United Football Club, supporting and championing women in sport at a community level. We believe that when women are encouraged to lead, compete, and thrive, the benefits ripple far beyond the field. Through this partnership, we are helping create inclusive opportunities that promote confidence, teamwork, resilience, and wellbeing for women and girls in our local community. Supporting women in sport aligns strongly with our values at Sesame Lane—empowerment, equity, and connection—and we are proud to stand alongside North Lakes United Football Club in fostering a sporting environment where women are supported, celebrated, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Moreton Bay Primary Schools

Sesame Lane works collaboratively with local schools to support Kindergarten children as they prepare for their transition into Prep, building familiarity, confidence, and a genuine sense of belonging. Throughout the year, children take part in school visits and transition activities designed to make their move into formal schooling feel calm, positive, and exciting rather than overwhelming. Educators, teachers, and families work closely together in partnership, sharing insights and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child. Sesame Lane is also proud to attend many Under 8s Days at local primary schools, where our educators engage children in meaningful activities that strengthen connections and help bridge the journey from early learning into school life.

Redcliffe Hospital Paediatrics Ward

Sesame Lane is deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young children, especially during moments when kindness matters most. As part of this commitment, Sesame Lane’s very own Cookie the Clown visits the Redcliffe Hospital Paediatrics Ward each month, bringing joy, comfort, and laughter to children and their families. With her warm heart and bright spirit, Cookie lights up the ward, turning difficult days into moments filled with smiles, giggles, and gentle reassurance. We are incredibly proud of Cookie’s generosity and the happiness she brings to children during some of their most challenging times, reminding families that they are supported, seen, and never alone.

Little Eagles Soccer Program

Sesame Lane is proud to sponsor the Narangba Eagles Little Eagles Soccer Program, supporting children aged 3–5 as they take their first joyful steps into team sport. After beginning our sponsorship in 2023, we have been delighted to continue as a strong and committed partner for this age group. Each 10-week program sees our Sesame Lane team attend games to cheer on the players while providing water and fresh fruit, and at the final game of the year every child is celebrated with a small Sesame Lane gift bag and their very own soccer ball. In 2025, the program proudly expanded to two groups of 30 children—an incredible milestone that speaks to the growing strength and popularity of the Little Eagles initiative. Under the leadership of Darren, President of the Narangba Eagles, this program reflects a shared passion for helping children build confidence, develop skills, and stay active from a young age. We look forward to continuing this valued partnership into 2026 and beyond.

Connection Club

Sesame Lane’s Connection Club celebrates the power of intergenerational learning by bringing residents from local aged-care facilities into our Services to connect with children in meaningful, heart-warming ways. These shared experiences support social, emotional, and cognitive development for both age groups, creating moments of joy, conversation, and mutual respect. Research shows that connecting generations strengthens children’s communication skills, empathy, and understanding of community, while enhancing the wellbeing, sense of purpose, and social engagement of older adults. Designed to be flexible and inclusive, Connection Club offers a variety of shared activities such as storytelling, art, music, and games; experiences that invite laughter, learning, and genuine connection. Through Connection Club, Sesame Lane continues to build strong community relationships and champion lifelong learning across generations.

Elders & Little Learners

Sesame Lane is honoured to welcome a group of Indigenous Elders who generously volunteer their time to visit our centres and spend meaningful time with children. Through yarning, storytelling, nature-based learning, and sharing perspectives about Country, these volunteers help embed deep cultural knowledge, respect, and understanding from an early age. Children develop curiosity, empathy, and a stronger connection to community and the natural world, learning in ways that are authentic, lived, and heartfelt.

This program is equally enriching for our Elders, providing opportunities for connection, purpose, and the continuation of cultural knowledge through sharing and relationships. By learning together, listening deeply, and walking alongside one another, both children and Elders benefit—strengthening bonds across generations and nurturing a shared sense of belonging that honours culture, community, and continuity.

The Mens Shed Redcliffe

Small Hands, Big Builds is a hands-on initiative where members of the Men’s Shed Redcliffe visit Sesame Lane to share their woodworking skills with the children. Together, they create, build, sand, and explore, supporting fine motor development, problem-solving, confidence, and curiosity in young learners. At the same time, the program proudly supports the Men’s Shed by fostering connection, purpose, and meaningful community engagement. These shared experiences bring generations together, proving that when small hands and skilled hands meet, everyone benefits and something special is built along the way.
