I feel it is important for children to have the opportunity to create and maintain honest and empathetic relationships with their educators that they can depend on. Building respectful and trusting relationships with both children and families is very important to me as it creates a welcoming and supportive environment.

I believe it is important to practice inclusivity in our centres whilst paying respect to others and their cultures. I respect the land which we share with the Gubbi Gubbi people and acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the custodians and First Peoples of Australia.

I aim to provide play experiences and opportunities for children that extend on their own interests and learning, allowing them the greatest opportunity for growth and development. This creates lifelong happy, healthy learners and gives them the best opportunity for positive future outcomes.

I am a big animal lover and have 2 dogs at home named Zeus and Echo. In my spare time I enjoy reading books, hanging out with my friends and spending time with my family. I Look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your family.

I am a proud OSHC Lead Educator and Sustainability Officer with over 15 years’ experience in the sector all at Sesame Lane School Zone.

As Sustainability Officer I have learnt alongside the children and strongly believe we need to educate our children and ourselves the importance of saving our planet. At School Zone we promote sustainability development with a focus on our natural waterways and the community in which we live. We aim to create positive practices that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meeting their own needs.

I encourage children to express themselves, interact and make positive choice is something I believe gives them a strong sense of self confidence. This teaches them a sense of belonging and self-respect.

My hobbies include shopping, and spending time with my beautiful grandchildren. I also love diamond art which my two dogs tend often knock over.

I am a Diploma qualified lead educator in the OSHC sector with 4 years’ experience.

I believe all children have the right to a safe and happy environment that can enrich their learning. Providing safe but challenging environments for the children to thrive is what I aim for. I believe that children should feel safe, secure and supported.

We provide the children with the opportunity to freely chose what they would like to do and extend on their own interests. This enhances the daily running of our program and opens a world of opportunities for the children, families and educators.

I spend my free time with my family, Tom, Ryder and Jordan. Family is very important to me as I come from a large family and enjoy seeing them when I have the opportunity to as they live in various parts of New South Wales.

I am an indigenous woman from the Gamilaraay tribe located in Coonabarabran NSW. I feel privileged to be a part of the Sesame Lane family and am the proud Educational Leader of School Zone. I am Diploma qualified and believe it’s important to create a safe and trusting environment so we have happy, healthy, learners!
