I believe in helping them to develop their potential by believing in them as capable. I will assist them in discovering who they are so that they are able to express their own opinion and nurture their own ideas. I will assist them to see others with respect, acceptance and embrace the differences between us.
I will have an environment that is caring, safe and equitable so that each child can grow and blossom. I will help them to become responsible members of our community and also to become responsible fir the own learning. To be able to be successful in life, believe in themselves and to love themselves and others.
Children open my mind and my heart to the joys of this world. I will never forget how to smile, laugh and forever strive to be the best educator that I can possibly be.

Pam Cannon Educational Leader
Qualification: Diploma in Children’s Services
I have been involved in the Early Childhood Sector for over eleven and a half years, all of which have been with Sesame Lane. I commenced as a very passionate trainee and progressed through to the role of Educational Leader and 2IC. I am truly grateful for our wonderful families allowing me the opportunity to play a major role in their children’s early development years. My heart melts when I walk into the rooms to be greeted with big smiles and warm hugs from our Happy Healthy Learners each and every day.
Tamara Buckley Nursery Lead Educator
Qualification: Diploma in Children’s Services
It was always a goal of mine to work with Sesame Lane ever since my own three children attended one of the services many years ago and had such a wonderful experience.
I have been in the Early Childhood Profession for 12 years and have been employed at the Banyan Street Service for the last six years.
What I love the most and find the most rewarding is working with the children and watching them grow and learn in a positive, safe and fun environment, the endless smiles and laughs as we all learn together.

Within my role, I have been lucky enough to work across all age groups; I love watching the children grow each and every day while achieving both small and big milestones.
Interactions with children are important to me, there is no stopping me from getting covered in paint and goop and I’m blessed to share my days with the children having fun!
On the weekend you will find me heading to the beach, camping or enjoying 4WD adventures.

I believe every child should be trated and respected for their individuality so they can learn and grow at their own pace, in their own time. I also belive it’s important to create a safe and secure environment where positive guidance and encouragement supports each child’s developement and independence.
I have been working in the Childcare & Early Learning Sector for 27 years. My 3 wonderful children attended Sesame Lane Narangba Banyan Street and their early years here were so lovely to be a part of as a parent I applied for a position with Sesame Lane.
I’m a family orientated person and love nothing more than a catch up and BBQ on the weekends (but shopping is a close second!). I can’t wait to meet you and your little one as they start their learning journey with us at Banyan Street.

My career in childcare began after I started my own family and sought to return to the workforce. What I discovered was one of the most rewarding careers possible. I hold a diploma of children’s services and have work for Sesame Lane since 2005.
In the 15 years since I began working in the childcare industry I have gained experience working with children of all ages and had the pleasure of being an integral part of their young lives. It is my vision for the children in my care to be confident, inquisitive learning with a strong sense of self and connectedness to the people and world around them.
