Kippa Ring – Regency Street Educators strive to make every day a happy day for our families and children. As we are a larger centre, we have two dedicated and passionate Service Managers. We believe in delivering rotating extracurricular activities to keep children engaged and forever learning new skills.

We both love being a part of children’s lives and supporting them through different stages of development. Their pure innocence and wonder towards everything the world has to offer is so inspiring, as is watching how excited and curious they become when involved in new experiences.

Stacey Clough

I am originally from Leeds in the United Kingdom and relocated to Brisbane, Australia in July 2012. I have a passion for Early Childhood and providing families with a 5-star quality service and care. I ensure that all children within my care are nurtured and supported within a safe, caring and supportive learning environment which will equip them with the skills needed in later life. I hold an advanced Diploma in Children’s services and Business Management.

I have a passion for creating engaging inviting learning environments as I truly believe Emilia Reggio’s approach and the importance the environment provides in a child’s learning journey; we focus heavily on this at our service and providing a free flow indoor/outdoor program at our service which helps develops children’s agency, being able to choose which environment they would like to be in.

I love to travel during my free time whether this be in Australia or travelling to different countries and experiencing different lifestyles and cultures. I have a 6-year-old Dalmatian, Duke that keeps me active as we love going for long walks on the beach of an evening and weekend!

Karen Rhodes

I truly believe that the first 5 years of life are the most important; that is why I always wanted to focus my career around the early years. Setting the fundamental skills for every child in the first 5 years sets them up to be capable and confident as they move throughout every part of their lives.

Communication and relationships between all parties is the key to working together for the best outcomes for all. I believe this is achieved through open communication and clear expectations from all. The environment that we provide children plays a big part in their learning journey and I believe that each child has the right to a clean, safe and beautiful space to spend their time. By providing these spaces and resources, children feel comfortable in themselves which then allows them to learn and grow at their own pace.

The excitement that you can see in children’s eyes and watching the children grow into the person they are is what keeps my passion alive each day, to know that you have made a positive impact on a child’s life is the most rewarding thing.

Our Kippa Ring Kids Early Learning Centre

Sesame Lane Kippa Ring – Regency Street was fully redeveloped to provide our Kippa Ring families the best that Sesame Lane has to give. We are well known for our three separate purpose-built playgrounds, catering for all ages. Our junior playground caters for younger children with low equipment and lush grass for our yet-to-walk bubs to crawl and explore. Our senior playground includes a decked Amphitheatre, large bike track and forts. Our third playground includes a community garden and the environment has been created to spark spontaneous learning experiences. Ample on-site parking lot makes pick-ups and drop-offs a breeze. Our large industrial on-site kitchen manned by our full-time children’s cook produces freshly cooked meals and snacks for all our Happy Healthy Learners. We pride ourselves on supporting children with food allergies and intolerances.

Kelly Anderson Educational Leader

I have been working with children in Early Childhood Education and Care for over 20 years. As an educational leader, I enjoy guiding and inspiring Educators as I support them to deliver quality early learning opportunities to all children. I enjoy mentoring Educators and collaborating with families to truly make each child’s journey at Sesame Lane special. I have a particular interest in inclusive practice, and I have recently become a Circle of Security facilitator. I love making connections in our community and working with outside agencies to advocate for the rights of all children

Gillian Brown Nursery Lead Educator, Qualified Baby Massage Trainer

I am the lead educator of Nursery 1. I have worked in the child care profession for 26 years and have worked for Sesame Lane for almost 20 years.

My passion is working with our youngest people, the babies. I love the connections with families and the children. Fostering the children’s learning and development and sharing this journey with their family.

I also love sharing infant massage with our families, assisting families to further build connections with their babies through infant massage.

Hello, my name is Teagan and I am one of the Educational Leaders here at Regency Street. I am diploma qualified and working towards my bachelor of early years and primary education. I have 9 years’ experience in the early childhood industry and absolutely love my job.

Kathryn Bartholomew Lead Educator - Toddlers Class

I have been in the industry since 2008 and found my passion to be in the 0-2yr age group. I love building genuine and meaningful connections with the children and their families. I find joy in creating spaces to spark wonder and curiosity in little minds, and watching the children explore these spaces in their own ways.

Outside of work, I spend my days with my little family and seeing extended family when we can, creating memories.

Isabella Watcham Lead Educator - Marvel Studio for Toddlers

Hi families, my name is Izzy. I’ve been an Educator for the last 4 years with experience in all age groups from nursery through to Kindergarten! I hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. I am all about encouraging children to be independent, confident and capable learners. I am strongly inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, I was lucky enough to travel to Reggio Emilia in Italy while I was studying and see first-hand the way this approach encourages children to have a strong sense of agency, respect their environment and feel a sense of belonging in their community. As an Educator I believe in being patient and caring towards children, to build a strong and trusting relationship with them. I believe that a good relationship between families and Educators is necessary to help children thrive when they come to day care!
